Rob A. Ferranto, Jr. Obituary
Rob A. Ferranto, Jr., age 47, of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010. Born on March 6, 1963, in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of Robert A. "Bear", Sr. and Rosemarie "RoRo" Ranalli Ferranto of Avondale, PA.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Eileen V. Palmer; daughter, Betty Ferranto; brother, Peter Ferranto and wife, Kim, Landenberg, PA; and sister, Gale Ferranto and fianc‚, William Coon, Kennett Square, PA. He is also survived by his extended family, Tom and Donna Palmer, Aston, PA.
Mr. Ferranto was an owner of Buona Foods, Inc. and Bella Mushroom Farms, Landenberg, PA. He was a 1981 graduate of Kennett High School and a member of Elkton Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will be held from 5:30-8 pm, Friday, December 10, at Elkton Presbyterian Church, 209 E. Main St., Elkton, MD. Funeral service will begin 11 am, Saturday, December 11, at Elkton Presbyterian Church, where family and friends may call from 9-10:45 am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or Elkton Presbyterian Memorial Fund, in care of Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD 21921.
